Man and the Ice Age

Does the Bible Explain the Ice Age?

Transcript

The Ice Age, which came after Noah’s Flood, provided the ideal conditions for mankind to spread around the Earth. You see, the cooler global temperatures would have allowed people to pass through—and even live in—places like the Sahara Desert.

The Ice Age would have also lowered ocean levels, exposing land bridges. The bridges would have permitted people and animals to easily travel to places like North America.

Those who settled North were hardest hit. Crops would have been hard to grow in the cool climate, so they would have relied on big game. And they would have used the most practical shelter available—caves! Cavemen were not primitive brutes. They were our relatives dispersing around the earth during the Ice Age.
