This week we’ve learned we’re all one race, descended from Adam and Eve. So where did all the people groups come from?
Well, the Bible actually gives us the history to understand our differences!
After the global flood, Noah and his family were told to multiply and fill the earth. Eventually, Noah’s descendants decided they wanted to stay together and build the Tower of Babel. So God confused their language, forcing them to spread out and fill the earth.
This event divided the human race into different language families. Now,each family took unique combinations of genetic information with them as they spread out. Soon different people groups and cultures arose!
